Ruby Beach, Olympic National Park, WA
Ruby Beach is one of the easiest beaches to access along the coastline in Olympic. During the middle of the day, it was socked in with low clouds, while the rest of the park was cloudless and sunny. Ruby Beach has the famous stacks along with a freshwater stream that exits onto the beach. During high tide, the logs on the beach can shift quickly and people have been injured and even killed by them.
We visited Ruby Beach on our way home, taking a break from driving through the forested park.
